From the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania comes Kazi Yetu tea, an independent tea company that focuses on locally sourced ingredients that exemplify the quality of east African agriculture. “Our Work” in Swahili, Kazi Yetu works to support jobs for women and local farmers.
Tea bags are made from corn starch and are fully compostable.
For optimal brewing:
Hot Tea: Steep 1 pyramid tea bag in a teapot of 0.5 liters in 100-degree (boiling) water. Brew for 2-3 minutes. Add a dash of milk for a spicy Zanzibar chai experience.
Cold Brew Tea: Steep 1 pyramid tea bag in a teapot of 0.5 liters in room temperature water. Brew at room temperature or in the fridge for 6-8 hours.
